Clendening Lake has been retained in a natural setting with no commercial development except the marina. Recreation facilities are operated by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD). For tours of Clendening Dam, Intake Structure, and Flood Control Facilities, contact the Project Supervisor @ (740) 658-3743.

Clendening Lake is approximately 10 miles southeast of Uhrichsville, Ohio. At Uhrichsville, take State Route 800 south to 1/4 mile east of Tippecanoe, Ohio. Turn onto Milarcik Road (County Road 69), approximately 1/2 mile down the road is the entrance to Clendening Dam.
